Choosing a Template
SharePoint comes with a set of built-in site templates. I described those templates briefly in Chapter 1 and you can see them listed on the New SharePoint Site page any time you create a new site. The site template defines what lists, libraries, and pages are included in the new site as well as what theme is assigned to the site. Table 1 and 2 list the specific items included in each of the built-in templates.
