SharePoint Editions
“SharePoint” means different things to different people. Table 1 explains the two main flavors of SharePoint and how they are referred to here and throughout the Microsoft documentation.
There are Standard and Enterprise editions of MOSS. The Enterprise edition includes these additional services: InfoPath Forms Services, Excel Services, and Business Data Catalog. All of the MOSS editions include WSS 3.0.
