Managing application:

Applications can be managed using he following methods:
- using wsadminscript
- using administrative console
- using WebSphere rapid deployment
Using the admin console
Go to application -> enterprise applications
Here you will see a list of installed applications and options to manage them. You can select the application by selecting the checkbox and click the action to be performed.

The options in this window are as follows
Start -> starts the application
Stop -> stops the applications
Install -> takes you through the process of installing a new process
Uninstall -> uninstalls the selected application
Rollout update -> using this you can update the whole application or single module in it.
Remove file -> you can remove any single file from the application
Export -> you can export the installed application to a EAR fiel
Export DDL -> this option exports the DDL found in the application
